Claire M. (Michaud) Delaurier

Claire Delaurier, 91, of Harrisville, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025 at home. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Delaurier, whom she married July 14, 1984. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Roseanna (Champagne) Michaud.

Claire worked at Saint Antoine Residence until she was 80 years old, retiring in 2014.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Darling and his wife Michelle, and Rick Darling; two daughters, Donna Darling, and Rose Gauvin and her husband Dean; her brother, Eugene Michaud of FL; one sister, Alice Greer Beauregard; her grandson that was raised as her own son, Joseph J. Darling and his wife Lizanna, her granddaughter who was raised as her own daughter Dawn Linburg and her husband Rich; 38 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three of her sons Robert, John, and Albert Darling and, her siblings Eugene, Charles, and Robert Michaud, Rita Waters and Rose Champagne.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025 beginning with visitation at 9:30 AM, followed by a service at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA.
