Claire R. (Bonin) Leroux, 87, of Manville, died December 30, 2024 in Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roger P. Leroux, whom she married November 4, 1956. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Beatrice (Parenteau) Bonin.
Claire retired from A.T. Cross, where she worked as an assembler. She enjoyed spending time attending church and reading the Bible. Claire traveled with her husband, and liked to visit family in Canada. She loved her family most of all.
She leaves her sons, Richard Leroux and his wife, Lynne, of Woonsocket, Maurice Leroux and his wife, Paula of Burrillville, and Dr. Michael Leroux and his wife, Tracy, of Ocala, FL; her sister, Helen Roy of Manville; five grandchildren, Richard, Brian, Matthew, Ashley and Mia Leroux; five great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Alex, Khloe, Claire and Cade; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Herve Bonin and her sister, Lucienne Jalette.
Her funeral will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, beginning with visitation at 9 AM, followed by a service at 11AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham.
