Claire B. Lorange, 90, of North Smithfield, died June 6, 2024 in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Rene A. Lorange. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Raoul and Dorilda (Champoux) Daignault. She additionally lived in Port St. Lucie, FL for a time.
Mrs. Lorange was a communicant of St. Charles Church, Woonsocket. She enjoyed BINGO and playing cards, but above all loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She leaves her son, Rene G. Lorange and his wife, Pauline, of Douglas, MA; her sister, Cecile Savageau of Concord, NC; four grandchildren, Jennifer Benoit, Bobbi-Sue Colette, and Timothy, Mason and Jade Lorange; four great grandchildren, Andrew and Ryan Benoit, and Reese and Rocco Colette; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Robert, Dennis, and Richard Lorange; her brothers, Andre, Gerard and George Daignault; and her sisters, Marie Anne St. George, Gerarda McGee, Margaret Plante, Rita Crepeau, and Theresa Kennedy.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
