Claire Roy Obituary

Claire (Beauchesne) Roy, 90, of Manville, died February 17, 2021 in the Holiday Retirement Home. She was the wife of the late Maurice A. Roy. She was also the companion of the late Gaitan Brule. Born in Manville, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Marion (Mondor) Beauchesne.

Claire was a communicant of St. James Church, Manville.

She leaves her children, Gail Grise of Manville, Joan Gilpatrick and her companion, Paul Karahalios, of Boca Raton, FL and Marc Roy and his wife, Lisa, of Cranston; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Omar, son-in-law Norman Grise and three sisters, Laura and Cecile Peloquin, and Theresa Beauchesne.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, in St. James Church, 33 Division St, Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Old River Road, Manville. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
