Constance R. (Fluette) Amaral

Constance R. Amaral, 81, of Woonsocket, died peacefully at home with her daughters and husband at her side on October 22, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Roy Amaral of Woonsocket for 57 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose (Pichette) Fluette.

Constance graduated from Saint Claire H.S. in 1960 and was a stay-at-home Mom and also worked for many years at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She enjoyed hiking, fishing and bird watching with her husband. In her later years, she loved country rides to see the cows and get ice cream cones with Roy.

Besides her husband, Roy, she is survived by her daughter, Christine Piro and her husband Peter, of Warwick, and daughter Cheryl LeGrand and her husband Erwin, of Mapleville; her two grandsons, Corey and Ryan Pollock, her sisters, Jacqueline Carreaux, of Youngstown, OH, and Denise Schandel, of Sandy, UT; and her nieces Jeanne, Michelle, Jennifer and nephew Norman. She was predeceased by her sisters Jeannine and Helene Fluette.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket.
