Constance P. Boisvert, 78, of Woonsocket, died November 30, 2020 in The Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Alphonse R. Boisvert, the love of her life, whom she married September 7, 1964. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Laval and Leah (Taillon) Desplaines.
Mrs. Boisvert was a graduate of St. Clare High School. She was a homemaker, and had previously worked at Brunelles Pharmacy, Peter Pan, and Burnes of Boston. Mrs. Boisvert was a communicant most recently of St. Agathas Church and previously of St Anns in Woonsocket. She volunteered for many church activities including the St. Anns Ladies Guild as well as the St Agathas Annual Christmas Bazaar Penny Social booth and Baking Booth and as a slicer and dicer for the annual Autumnfest Dynamite Fundraising Booth. She enjoyed trips with family and time spent with friends as well as playing games and spending family time which hopefully included delicious pastry.
She leaves her daughters, Lisa Proulx and her former spouse, Michael, and Ann St. George and her husband, John, all of Cumberland; her brother, Paul Desplaines of Woonsocket; two sisters, Susan Mercier of Cumberland and Diane Robin of Woonsocket; four grandchildren, Kate St. George, and Alex, Ryan, and Grace Proulx; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her family at The Friendly Home, where she was cared for by an incredible group of dedicated professionals who loved her dearly.
Her burial will be private, but may be viewed live on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11 AM at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/25718258 A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
