Daniel S. Ryan, Sr.

Daniel S. Ryan, Sr., 92, of Millville, MA, died January 9, 2024. He was the husband of Mary L. (Keenan) Ryan. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Thomas J. Ryan, Sr. and the late Pearina (Paccioretti) Ryan.

After graduating from Mount Saint Charles Academy, Dan served in the Air Force in Germany during the Korean War. He worked as a telephone system installer for AT&T until his retirement. Dan was a member f the Knights of Columbus. He helped to establish and volunteered at the Blackstone Millville Food Pantry, where he served as treasurer.

He is survived by four sons, Daniel S. Jr., David, Michael and Jonathan Ryan, one daughter, Mary Larochelle; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

His funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11 AM at Divine Mercy Parish, 48 St. Paul St., Blackstone, MA. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, RI 02895. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blackstone Millville Food Pantry, 48 St. Paul St., Blackstone, MA 01504.
