Debra Ann Jean

Debra Lamoureux Jean, 59, passed away peacefully at the home of her sister, Cheryl Allevato, on November 14, 2020 after a brief illness. Born in Woonsocket on October 21, 1961 she was the daughter of the late Jacqueline Landry and the late Bertrand Lamoureux.

Debra was always helping others by providing rides to appointments or running errands for those in need. She often volunteered at local food banks. Debra was an excellent cook and found much joy cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. Debra was a devoted sister and aunt to Cheryl and her children and was always there when needed. Debra had a remarkable memory and could recall every detail about her family, often being called upon to provide information to other family members. She was always happy, laughing and kept a positive outlook on life.

She leaves her siblings, Cheryl Allevato, Michael Doura, Vivian, Ann and Thomas Lamoureux, many nephews and nieces including Brandon Colli, Sabrina and Sarah Allevato and her grandniece, Valerie Jimenez-Colli. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Jeanne Lamoureux. Debra was the longtime companion to Jeffrey Hashway.

A celebration of life will be held by her family.
