Dennis L. Archambault, Sr., 69, of Woonsocket, died December 19, 2023 in his home. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Vivian (Robidoux) Archambault of North Smithfield, and the late George Archambault.
Dennis was an avid music lover, who enjoyed learning to play many instruments, and was passionate about playing his drums. Most weekends he could be found rocking out at The Post 85 or Lindy's Tavern with bands including Now and Then and In a Jam, or at open mic nights where he enjoyed singing karaoke. He attended many rock concerts with his children, and taught his grandchild how to play the drums. Dennis also enjoyed the motorcycle weekends in Laconia and hiking in the White Mountains, where he had many happy memories. Dennis also enjoyed playing poker on family game nights and street hockey with his brothers in his younger years, most often as goalie.
He leaves his children, Dennis Archambault, Jr. and Alisa Archambault, both of Woonsocket; his granddaughter, Cadence Archambault of Woonsocket; and his siblings, Georgette Key of Baltimore, MD, Diane, Mikey, Aline, Tommy, Norman, George, and Sandra Archambault, all of Rhode Island, along with many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Dennis's life will be held privately in January for family and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
