Donald F. Allison, Jr.

Donald F. Allison, Jr., 61, of Smithfield, died December 17, 2024, in Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of Marie (Meyer) Allison of Albion and the late Donald F. Allison, Sr.

Donald graduated from North Smithfield High School in 1981, where he played on the Golf Team. He then attended Nichols College, where he was a member of the Track Team. Donald had a lifelong love of running and joined the Woonsocket Harriers, competing in many road races. He was also an avid New England sports fan.

Along with his mother, Marie, he is survived by his siblings, Cynthia Kelly and her husband Ronald, of Millville, David Allison of Lonsdale, and his niece and nephew, Alyssa and Ryan Kelly.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket.
