Donna M. (Schwarz) Tardif

Donna M. (Schwarz) Tardif, 92, of North Smithfield, died November 5, 2025 in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Marcel G. Tardif, whom she married August 16, 1975. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Wilhelmina (Ludescher) Schwarz.

Donna worked as a teacher, and was later a social worker at St. Antoine Residence. She was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church and an active volunteer on numerous committees including the decorating committee. She was involved in many of St. Agatha’s ministries, including Helping Hands and was a member of a Small Christian Community. If there was a need Donna was there to help.

She leaves four nephews, Frederick, Peter, Michael, and Thomas Schwarz. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frederick Schwarz, John Schwarz and Francis Schwarz, F.S.C.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So., Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Agatha's Church, 34 Joffre Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Calling hours are Wednesday, from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agatha's Church, 34 Joffre Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
