Elizabeth Reilly Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" (Kelley) Reilly, 89, of Blackstone, passed away October 30, 2024 in the Lydia Taft House, Uxbridge. She was the wife of the late Russell Reilly. Born in North Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Poplawski) Kelley.

Betty worked for the Mark Stevens Warehouse, Woonsocket, and previously worked for AT&T and the former Woonsocket Answering Service. She also enjoyed volunteer work for many years, which included helping at a library in Florida and her time spent with her friends at the Town of Blackstone Senior Center, the Blackstone Public Library and crocheting preemie hats for Women and Infants Hospital in Providence. But the most important thing to her was spending time with her family.

She is survived by four children, Carol Lacroix and her husband, Donald, of Woonsocket, Kelly Reilly and his wife, Terri, of The Villages, FL, Steven Reilly and his wife, Linda, of Woonsocket, and Michael Reilly and his wife, Donna, of Johnston; a sister, Kathleen Folding and her husband, Stephen, of Blackstone; nine grandchildren, Matt, Christopher, Melissa, Ryan, Tom, Jenna, Shawn, Kevin and Brian; nine great grandchildren, Nathan, Kailey, Shey, Thomas, Nora, Maximus, Conor, Jake and Brynn; and a great great granddaughter, Winona. She was predeceased by her brother John Kelley (Donna Zimmerman).

The family would like to thank the staff of the Lydia Taft House and Preferred Peaceful Transitions Hospice for the care given to Betty.
