Elizabeth "Betty" Morrissette of Woonsocket passed away peacefully on Dec. 19 following a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 83.
She leaves her husband of 65 years, Alfred, her son Tom and his partner Chris Hulsebosch of Belleair Bluffs, FL and her daughters Bethany Saracina and her partner Richard Gagne of North Smithfield, Judi LaMalva and her husband Wayne of Londonderry, NH and Patti Boucher and her husband Dennis of Preston, CT, her grandchildren Kyle, Nicole, Domenic, Corey, and Colbi, her great grandchildren, Joel and Elizabeth, her brother J. Patrick Reilly and his wife Joyce of North Smithfield, and her sister Susan Allard of Virginia. She was predeceased by her daughter Jennifer.
Betty will be remembered for her warmth, sense of humor, and love of the ocean.
The family extends its thanks to her longtime friend and caregiver Jackie Gervais and the wonderful staff at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11 am in St. Joseph's Church, 1200 Mendon Rd, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, W Wrentham Rd, Cumberland, RI. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main St., Woonsocket, RI. Donations in Betty's name can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
