Ellen J. (L'Heureux) Moulico

Ellen J. Moulico, 80, of North Smithfield, passed away September 4, 2025 in the Hope Hospice Hulitar Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Ernest Moulico. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Helen (Kirrane) L'Heureux.

Mrs. Moulico worked for Poly Top, North Smithfield, retiring in 2010. Ellen did enjoy bird watching, but most important to her was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was witty, selfless, giving, and always sacrificed for others.

She is survived by her three children, Leslee Deslauriers and her husband, Michael, of North Smithfield, Daniel Moulico and his wife, Jennifer, of Lincoln, and Ernest Moulico and his wife, Christine, of North Smithfield; and five grandchildren, Douglas and Sarah Deslauriers, Isabella, Ryan, and Jake Moulico. She was the sister of the late Margaret Chenail, Carol Lacey, and Janice Walsh.  She has many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 10:30AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-7PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society online at cancer.org
