Elvie L. (Hale) Brunelle

Elvie L. Brunelle, 83, of Harrisville, was called home on February 7, 2025, the day she would have celebrated her 66th anniversary with her late husband, Robert Brunelle Sr., who died March 7, 2024. Born in Roanoke Rapids, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruby (Woodruff) Hale.

Elvie loved family, her family was her reason for everything, her kids, grandchildren, great grandchildren and even a great-great. She enjoyed driving around the country with her husband, and especially going to Branson, MO to see old country shows. She enjoyed crocheting and reading.

She is survived her children, Vonda Roberts and her husband Donald Sr., of Danielson, CT, Robert Brunelle, Jr. and his wife Sheila, of Harrisville, Troy Brunelle, Sr. and his wife Sharon, of Thompson, CT, Jodi Brunelle and her husband Michael O'Neill, of Woonsocket, Lee-Ann Hedquist and her husband Roland Sr., of North Smithfield, David Brunelle and his husband Antonio Pontes, of Sackets Harbor, NY, Danielle Douglas and her husband Joshua, of Woonsocket; her siblings, Paul Hale of NM, and Mary Poole of SC; 26 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was the grandmother of the late Roland "Bud" Hedquist, Jr, and John D. "Little John" Oullette. She was the great grandmother of the late Lucas A. Arnold. She was the sister to the late Bull Hale and Betty Jean Stechly.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 from 5-7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket. Burial will private.
