Florence Josephine Morin

Florence Josephine Morin, 99, a longtime resident of Woonsocket, RI passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025 in Stillwater Nursing Home, Greenville, after a number of years of declining health.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard A. Morin and son, James Morin.

Florence loved playing and teaching the organ. She gave lessons at Robert's Studio, Avery Studio, and privately in her home. Prior to teaching music, she worked in the business office at Fogarty Hospital. Florence was a longtime active member of St. James Episcopal Church, having served on its Vestry. She had also been a member of their Seniors' Group for many years.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 9 AM in St. James Episcopal Church, 24 Hamlet Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Smithfield Rd., North Smithfield. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St. Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. James Episcopal Church Food Pantry, 24 Hamlet Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
