Frances L. (Pero) Cournoyer

Frances L. (Pero) Cournoyer, 85, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, passed away December 27, 2024 peacefully in her sleep at her home in Richmond, Minnesota. Fran was the loving wife of the late Emile W. Cournoyer also of Woonsocket. She was the daughter of the late Edgar M. Pero Sr., and Lida B. (Bell) Pero, and sister of her late brother and sister, Raymond Pero and Carol Pero.

Fran was a proud and devoted Navy wife, mother, meme, and aunt to 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her surviving brother Edgar M. Pero Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, her daughter Patricia (Begarek) Hemond, sons Thomas (Carol) Begarek, and Christopher (Edie) Cournoyer, all of Chesapeake, Virginia; sons Michael (Kelley) Cournoyer of Ellenboro, North Carolina, and Kevin (Paula) Cournoyer of Richmond, Minnesota.

Her celebration of life and burial will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, beginning at 10 AM, followed by a service at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 310 Wrentham Rd., Bellingham.
