Gayle A. (Hudson) Landry, 78, of Woonsocket, passed away November 19, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of Delphis C. Landry, Jr. whom she married December 7, 1963. Born in Framingham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Hudson, Sr. and the late Flora (Gittleson) Hudson.
Gayle worked as a realtor. She was a regional manager for House of Llyod, with whom she took many memorable trips with her husband. Their favorites included Hawaii, where they renewed their vows, and Egypt, where Gayle had the opportunity to drive a boat along the Nile. Gayle served as a Girl Scout leader in the Globe Park area. She was a talented scrap booker, and made the most beautiful handmade cards. Her favorite color was glitter. Gayle was loved by many, and will be greatly missed.
Besides her husband, Delphis, she leaves their daughters, Rachel Landry of Woonsocket and Christine Medina and her husband, Joseph, of Portugal; her granddaughter, Alissa; three great grandchildren, Alexis, Mariah, and Julianna; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Elbert "Turk" Hudson, Jr., and Jonathan Hudson.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham. Calling hours are Monday from 4 - 7 PM.
