Harold LeBlanc Obituary

Harold W. LeBlanc, 89, of North Smithfield, died December 29, 2020 at Landmark Medical Center.  Born in North Smithfield, he was the son of the late William F. and Alma (Casey) LeBlanc.  He was the husband of the late Francis M. (Contildes) LeBlanc.

Mr. LeBlanc graduated from Mt St. Charles Academy and then served 4 years in the Navy. He worked at Whitin Machine works for 10 years and then for Madison Industries, where he retired after 32 years. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. For many years he enjoyed riding his trike with his daughter and many friends who nicknamed him "Pops".

He is survived by his son, Glenn LeBlanc of Oakland, ME; his daughter, Lisa Robinson of Pascoag; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  He was the father of the late Gary LeBlanc and brother of the late Leonard and Francis LeBlanc.   

His funeral will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville, beginning with visitation at 10:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
