Helen A. (Zajchowski) Coyle, 86, of North Smithfield, died June 29, 2024 in the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late John N. Coyle. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of Anthony and Anna T. (Zarembobicz) Zajchowksi. She lived in Pawtucket for most of her life.
Helen attended the former Cottage Street Elementary School, Goff Junior High School, and Tollman High School, Pawtucket. She was a machine operator for Englehard Industries, Attleboro for 38 years, retiring in 1994. A few years after her retirement, she moved to North Smithfield, and became a member of the Glocester Senior Center, where she has now been a member for several years, and enjoyed playing cribbage and being involved with other activities with her friends.
She leaves her sister, Ann P. Burdick of North Smithfield, and several cousins. She also leaves family members on her late husband's side.
Her funeral will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11 AM in the Swan Point Cemetery Historical Chapel, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, with inurnment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 102 High Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860, the RI SPCA, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Ave., Suite 1100 N., Bethesda, MD 20814, or the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
