Helen Provost

Helen (Larsh) Provost, 80, of North Smithfield, died April 7, 2021 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Born in Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late G. Roland and Isabelle (Lynch) Larsh.

Helen was a graduate of Blackstone High School. She worked at St. Antoine Residence for over 30 years, until her retirement. Helen was a member of the Quilting Club, and the Glocester, Lincoln, and Woonsocket Senior Centers. She enjoyed ceramics, quilting, gardening, baking and sewing. Helen was always there to help everyone.

She leaves her children, Jo-Ann Paulhus and her husband, Kenneth, of North Smithfield, Paula Bartholomy and her husband, John, of Woonsocket, Donna Provost and her significant other, Robert Raymond, of North Smithfield, Jeffrey Provost of North Smithfield, and Steven Provost and his wife, Lori, of Cumberland; her brother, G. Roland Larsh of Largo, FL; eight grandchildren, Aimee and Ashley Dawkins, Kayla and John Bartholomy, II, Joshua Stone, Molly Raymond, Zachary Provost and Anne Provost; five great grandchildren, Sullivan, Forrest, Crew, Ella, and Rainn; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara McGee.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville, or may be viewed live at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/81100598 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Smithfield Fire and Rescue Department, 1470 Providence Pike, North Smithfield, RI 02896.
