Ian A. Nason

Ian A. Nason, 81, of North Smithfield, died September 15, 2024 in his home. He was the husband of Jo-Anne (Thomas) Nason of North Smithfield. Born in England, he was the son of the late Ernie and Alice (Douse) Nason.

Ian worked as a tool and die maker for many years. He enjoyed building furniture, woodworking, reading, playing cribbage and spending time with family and friends.

Along with his wife, Jo-Anne, he is survived by his second family, Michael Hoisington and his wife, Elizabet of WA, and Joseph Hoisington of VT; his brother Stephen Nason and his partner Paul Harvey of England; and his grand children, Mark Nason Jr., Rose Marie Knowles, Azlynn, Isabelle and Amelia Hoisington. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Nason.
