Irene M. (Delfino) Scrima

Irene M. (Delfino) Scrima, 101, of Fernandina Beach, FL, passed away May 5, 2025 in Fernandina Beach Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Anthony Scrima. Born in Roxbury, MA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (St. Jacques) Delfino.

Mrs. Scrima was the owner and operator of Irene's Dance Studio of Woonsocket, and then Bellingham, retiring in 1997. Irene was a member of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston, a member of the Dance Masters of Boston, and was very active in the Smithfield and North Providence Senior Centers.

She is survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and her half sister, Theresa Hochard of Acton, MA. She was the mother of the late Joseph Belliveau, Maureen Fielding, Joann Aznavorian; and she was the sister of the late Nancy Delfino and the late Geneva Sharon.

Her funeral will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 beginning with visitation at Noon, followed by a service, at 1PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Wrentham Rd., Bellingham.
