Jacqueline D. (Bourque) Thibault

Jacqueline D. (Bourque) Thibault, 90, of Blackstone, died May 29, 2023 in her home. She was the wife of the late Normand R. Thibault, whom she married May 30, 1952. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Gerard R. Bourque and Violet D. (Choquette) Bourque Lavallee.

Jacqueline was a homemaker, devoted to caring for her family. She was a communicant of St. Paul's Church, Blackstone. Jackie enjoyed sewing, crafting, knitting, and ceramics, and was an avid reader.  She traveled extensively with her husband, visiting numerous places, including Germany, Spain, and Italy, and much of the Midwest and West Coast. Above all, Jackie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she adored.

She leaves her daughters, Deborah L. Tancrelle of East Killingly, CT, Patricia L. Vilnit and her husband Raymond L., of Blackstone, Cynthia J. Drainville and her husband, Dennis H., of Lakeland, FL, and Lori A. Caya and her husband, Richard G., of Pascoag; her brother, Ronald G. Bourque of Plainfield, CT; six grandchildren, Sheri Almeida and her husband, George, Jr., Amanda Gibson and her husband, James, Jamie Drainville and his wife, Kristen, Stephanie Burgess and her husband, Benjamin, Nicholas Caya and his wife, Becky, and Brian Caya; nine great grandchildren, Rhys, Elliot, Kevin, Benjamin, Henry, Amelia, Mason, Brooke, and Kendall; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Kevin R. Vilnit, and two brothers, Robert H. and Gerard R. Bourque.

Her funeral will be held Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10 AM in Divine Mercy Parish at St. Paul's Church, 48 St. Paul St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. Calling hours are Sunday from 1-4 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
