James M. Leone, Jr.

James M. Leone Jr., 50, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in Landmark Medical Center after a battle with Lymphoma. Born in Milford, he was the son of Colleen (Degnan) Leone of Nampa, ID and the late James M. Leone Sr. of Blackstone.

Jim graduated from BMR in 1988. He was a skilled carpenter who worked for L.J.L. Const., Inc. for many years and was later self-employed. Jim enjoyed many outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking and off-roading. He especially enjoyed weightlifting and working out with his son.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his son, Seth Leone, of Woonsocket; his sister, Sheila Leone and her husband, Jeffrey of Nampa, ID; his companion Gidget Charette of Woonsocket; and many aunts, uncles and other family members.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made a charity of ones choice. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date when family and friends are able to gather.
