James M. Mullen

James M. Mullen, 72, of West Melbourne, FL and formerly of Glendale, RI passed away on December 11, 2019 in Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, FL with his family by his side. Born in Woonsocket, RI he was the son of the late Robert and Jeannette (Cote) Mullen.

Mr. Mullen was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Keep Your Head Barber Shop in Woonsocket for over 40 years before retiring to Florida. He was a loyal fan of all New England sports. His two grandchildren were his constant companions and he treasured his time with them.

He is survived by his daughter Erin Smith and her husband Paul of Glendale; his brother Bill Mullen of Manchester, NH; his sister Patricia Wallwork of Franklin, MA; his grandchildren Harry and Jacob Smith both of Glendale; as well as his former wife, Janice Zanella Mullen of Glendale. He is also survived by his two nephews and niece.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
