Janice M. (Zanella) Mullen

Janice M. (Zanella) Mullen, 76, of Glendale, passed away, August 12, 2024 at home, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Fiorello and Bernadette (St. Pierre) Zanella.

Janice was a 1966 graduate of Woonsocket High School and worked for Overlook Nursing and Rehab Center, Pascoag, for over thirty-five years, retiring in 2018. She loved dogs, gardening, reading, traveling in her younger years, and spending time at home with her family. Janice was the life of the party, and always appreciated the occasional Cosmopolitan.

She is survived by her daughter, Erin Smith and her husband, Paul, of Glendale; a brother, Edward Zanella, and his wife, Claudette, of North Smithfield; her two grandsons, Harry and Jacob Smith; as well as, several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1PM in Bella Restaurant, 1992 Victory Hwy, Burrillville, RI. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HopeHealth, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
