Jason Andrew Curry 40, of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer, surrounded by the unwavering love of his spouse, Taylor. Born on December 9, 1985, Jason lived a life marked by resilience, humor, authenticity, and a deep devotion to the people and moments that mattered most.

Jason worked in customer service, where he had a natural ability to connect with people and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether he was "trying to fix" something-even when he had no idea what he was doing-offering advice, or simply being there when someone needed him, Jason showed up with sincerity and heart.

He had a strong, opinionated personality and was never afraid to speak his mind. Outspoken, intelligent, and genuine, Jason left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was an avid reader with a wealth of knowledge about all kinds of things, often surprising people with facts and insights they never expected. His sharp wit and signature smart-ass humor made him unforgettable-and to those who knew him best, incredibly endearing.

Jason had a love for Mario Brothers, finding joy in the game and the nostalgia it brought him-one of the many simple things that made him happy.

Jason also had a quirky side and a unique sense of humor that brought constant smiles to those around him. He often joked about being "high class," calling places a "high-class joint," a phrase that became part of his charm and something his loved ones will always remember. Whether he was mowing the lawn, exchanging words with a neighbor about clothes left on the line, or laughing at the everyday chaos of life, Jason found humor in it all. Even small moments-like Taylor's sister Coco playfully "sweeping" him-became memories filled with laughter and love.

At home Jason loved deeply, especially his purr-babies-their cats, Boy and Prince-who were part of his everyday joy. His playful spirit shined in the little things, like asking, "Can I get a meowwwwww?" while cracking open fortune cookies, with Boy gazing up at him as if to say, "Hey Dad, can I get a bite?" These moments will forever bring smiles to those who shared them.

Above all else, Jason's greatest love was his spouse, Taylor-his "monkey, monks, bubs." the playful and endearing names he used for his beloved spouse.Their relationship was one of deep love, banter, devotion, companionship, humor, and unwavering support. They shared a bond that was both playful and profound, filled with inside jokes, meaningful conversations, and a love that anchored Jason through every chapter of his life. Taylor was truly the center of his world. His comforting words, "Don't worry, monks, I love you" will forever echo in Taylor's heart - a reminder of a love that will never fade.

Jason will be remembered for his kind and giving heart, his unwavering strength, his quick wit, and his deeply rooted intelligence. He had a way of making people feel at ease, of bringing laughter into heavy moments, and of leaving behind memories that will be held onto tightly by all who knew him. His presence was a source of comfort, his humor a source of joy, and his love a lasting gift.

Jason is survived by his loving spouse, Taylor; their beloved purr-babies, Prince and Boy; Taylor's family, who embraced and loved him as their own; his best friend, Mike Narkawich; and many other family and friends who will miss him beyond words.

He was preceded in death by his Meme, Mildred Curry, and his Grandpa, Joseph Curry.

Though his time here was far too short, Jason's impact was immeasurable. He lived authentically, loved deeply, and left behind a legacy of laughter, resilience, and connection.

"I will forever love you the most... in this lifetime and the next."

His funeral will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2026 beginning with visitation at 5PM followed by a service at 6:30PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
