Jean V. (Bell) Cameron, 83, of Woonsocket, passed away May 26, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of Byron "Jimmy" Cameron whom she married September 1, 1969. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia (Richmond) Bell.
Mrs. Cameron worked as a housekeeper for the former Mt. St. Francis Health Center, Woonsocket, and previously worked for the former Narragansett Knitting. She loved spending time with all of her family, and she especially loved all of the pets she had and cared for throughout the years.
Along with her husband, Byron, she is survived by her children, John Cameron and his wife, Ana, of North Smithfield, and Jane Rochefort and her husband, Richard, Jr., of Woonsocket; three sisters, Dorothy Ventura of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Evelyn Auclair of Woonsocket, and Nancy Finbow of Woonsocket; two grandchildren, Lauren Flinton and her husband, Dean, of Warwick, and Tara Rochefort and her fiancée, Matthew Homand, of Woonsocket; as well as, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late David Bell.
