Jeanne H. (Cournoyer) Duguay

Jeanne H. (Cournoyer) Duguay, 82, of Smithfield, passed away May 20, 2024 in Roger Williams Hospital. She was the wife of Richard Duguay, to whom she was married to for 60 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late George and Rita (Cote) Cournoyer.

Jeanne worked as a clerk for the Kornstein's Department Store and General Cable. She enjoyed watching TV, and especially loved to watch the Red Sox and New England Patriots. Above all, Jeanne loved her family the most.

Along with her husband Richard, she is survived by their children, Paul Duguay of Smithfield, and Denise Savoie of Freedom, NH; her brother, Robert Cournoyer of Cumberland; and her sister, Irene Cournoyer of Woonsocket.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main Street, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Parish, 1409 Park Ave, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 310 Wrentham Rd., Bellingham. Calling hours are Friday from 5 - 7. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.
