John T. Czyzewicz

John T. Czyzewicz, 70, of North Smithfield, died December 3, 2023 in Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Susan (Farrell) Czyzewicz, to whom he was married 45 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Tady E. and Frances V. (Czupryna) Czyzewicz.

John was a Vietnam era Air Force veteran.  John was a graduate of Roger Williams University, earning his BSEET. He was a senior regulatory affairs specialist for Clario Research Company. John enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles, traveling, and music, but his passion was cooking - he loved to experiment with different foods. John loved a good joke and was a fan of The Three Stooges and Monty Python.

John served as Cubmaster for Pack 7 - Slatersville, he videotaped the North Smithfield Town Council meetings for public access in the early 90's, and he served on the Planning Board.

Along with his wife, Susan, he leaves their sons, Justin Czyzewicz of North Smithfield and Adam Czyzewicz of Woonsocket; his sister, Pauline Czyzewicz of Pawtucket; one neice and several nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward Czyzewicz. He also leaves his beloved dog, Skippy.

His visitation will be held Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2-5 PM, followed by a service at 5 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Smithfield Food Pantry. PO Box 283 Slatersville RI 02876.
