John Rene Lavimodiere

John R. Lavimodiere, 60, a lifelong Woonsocket resident, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. John was the son of the late Rene and Beatrice (Charrette) Lavimodiere.

John was a hard working man. Strong, kind, compassionate, loved his family and friends more than anything, and had a sense of humor like no other. Hed be the first one there in the drop of a dime, give you the shirt off his back, and made sure you had a good laugh every time you saw him. He was truly one of a kind and enjoyed life to the fullest. John was well loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his two daughters, Kelly Lavimodiere and her fianc Jason Heroux of Cranston and Renee Lavimodiere of Woonsocket, his 7 grandchildren that he loved so much, Isaiah, Jared, Lilliana, Jason, Jaxtin, Aiden and Ava; his sister Jeanne Bertrand of Woonsocket, his nephew Eric Bertrand of Washington and his longtime girlfriend Janet Ledoux of Woonsocket. He was preceded in death by his precious granddaughter, Kya Angel.

Services for John will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Curtis Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, with visitation from 5-8 p.m. with final prayer and announcements at 8:00 p.m.
