John D. Ritchie

John D. Ritchie, 61, of Woonsocket, passed away on April 28, 2025, who like to be called JR. He was a life-long resident of Woonsocket and spent most of his younger years doing odd jobs for local businesses.

JR always spoke fondly of his two foster families, who took care of him when he was young. He loved riding his bicycle and telling stories about skiing in Vermont with his foster brother. He never spoke much about his biological parents who we expect he never knew. Regardless of this, JR was good natured had many friends. He will be fondly missed by those who knew him best.

Private funeral services were under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
