Joseph Michael Desmarais, 63, of Providence, died March 23, 2023 in his home. Born in Arizona, he was the son of Joseph R. "Robert" Desmarais and his wife, Gail, of Woonsocket.
Michael enjoyed watching TV and football, and animals.
Besides his father and stepmother, he is survived by his housemates and staff at the Imera House, Providence.
His funeral will be held Monday, March 27, 2023, beginning with visitation at 11:30 AM, followed by a service at 12:30 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Rhode Island, Attn: Donations, 370 George Washington Highway, Smithfield, RI 02917, or to AccessPoint RI, PO Box 20130, Cranston, RI 02920.
