Joseph Paul "Joe" T. Deragon, 70, of Woonsocket, died September 3, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center. He was the lifelong partner of Brian Renaud of Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Theodore and Lucille (Perron) Deragon.
Joe worked as a supervisor for Polytop for many years. He enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, the beach and lighthouses. He was a kind, patient and selfless man, that loved his family.
Along with his lifelong partner, Brian, he is survived by his daughter, Aimee Bandilli and her husband, Timothy of Manville; his siblings, Richard Deragon and his wife, Suzanne of Foster, Claire Dumas of Woonsocket, and Jacqueline Ducharme and her husband, Gerry of Warwick; two grandchildren, Tara Arpin of Woonsocket and Samantha Arpin of Burrillville; and a niece and two nephews, Lisa Dumas, John Dumas Jr., and Derek Deragon. He was preceded in death by his son, Eric O'Connor.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main Street, Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
