Judith G. (Falk) Waxman, 78, of San Juan, Puerto Rico, died May 13, 2021 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was the wife of Michael A. Waxman. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Frank H. and Florence P. (Leikind) Falk of Woonsocket and Narragansett.
Judy left Rhode Island to attend George Washington University and remained in the Washington, DC area until her retirement to Puerto Rico. After her first marriage, she raised her two children independently while working as a legal assistant for prominent law firms, specializing first in anti-trust and later in defense contracts. Judy delighted in entertaining throughout her life, collecting recipes and pottery from her world travels to share at dinner parties with her family and friends. In San Juan, she taught religious preparation classes at Shaare Zedeck Synagogue and was an active member and past president of the local Hadassah chapter.
In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her children, Tracy McKenna and her husband, Paul of Greenwich, CT; Jeremy Unger and his wife, Orli of Jerusalem; her husbands daughter, Michele Sonnier of Baton Rouge, LA; her seven grandchildren Dean and Lily McKenna, Hodaya, Tzofnat, and Achinoam Unger, Sydney and Colin Stuhmer; her beloved sister, Diane McNeil, and her husband, Duncan of Kingston; and her niece, Rebecca McNeil and her husband, Doug Meyer, of East Greenwich, along with their children Emma and Dylan.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Judys name may be made to Hadassah and directed to the Hadassah Medical Organization.
