Kenneth Paulhus Obituary

Kenneth M. Paulhus, 61, of North Smithfield, died May 1, 2025 in Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Jo-Ann (Provost) Paulhus of North Smithfield. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Jacqueline (Gagnon) Paulhus of North Smithfield, and the late Andre Paulhus.

Eventually he would lead to become operations administrative supervisor at Rhode Resource Recovery Corporation in Johnston for 27 years. Kenny also volunteered for the North Smithfield fire department from 1982-1989. He was an avid Patriots, NASCAR and Grateful Dead fan, and loved traveling with his wife and family. Above all, Kenny loved nothing more than family gatherings by the pool, with a frozen drink in hand.

Along with his wife of 36 years, Jo-Ann, and mother, Jacqueline, he is survived by his daughters, Aimee Dawkins and her significant other, Eric Cavanaugh of Harrisville, and Ashley Dawkins and her significant other, Joseph Marquis of Clarksville, TN; his sister, Kimberly Harvey of Woonsocket; and two grandchildren, Sullivan Hough and Crew Marquis.
