Lillian Belcher Obituary

Lillian N. (Pellerin) Belcher, 82, of North Smithfield, died February 14, 2021 in her home with her family.She was the wife of George (Jerry) H. Belcher, Jr., whom she married May 28, 1960.Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Nellie (Bielat) Pellerin of Millville, MA. She graduated from St. Marys in Milford, MA class of 56.

Lillian worked in medical records at Woonsocket Hospital, and later worked for Dr. Eddy, in the front office as receptionist and billing specialist.She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and was often seen at daily mass before Alzheimers disease made it impossible.

Besides her husband, she leaves their daughters, Debra Belcher Noonan, and her husband, Michael Noonan, of Greenville, SC, and Donna Belcher of Blackstone, MA; two granddaughters, Caleigh and Meghan Noonan; and her sister, Shirley Grover of Danielson, CT.She was predeceased by her brother, Francis Pellerin.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 witha Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville.Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home for a Day, 84 Social Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895, or online athttps://www.seniorservicesri.org/alternate-adult-care.htm
