Lillian C. (Stewart) Kenoian

The family of Lillian Kenoian, 96, of North Smithfield, would like to announce her passing on March 13, 2026. Born in Pawtucket, Lillian was the daughter of the late Lillian Nyberg Stewart Ethier and Martin Adam Stewart. She was married to the late Harold H. Kenoian, for 64 years. Together they shared a life filled with steadfast faith, cherished family, and celebrated friendships.

After her graduation from Pawtucket West High School in 1949, Lillian became the first x-ray technician at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI. She later continued that dedication to patient care when she and Harold purchased Overlook Nursing in 1958.

Throughout her life she was known to many as a caring and dedicated member of the community. For decades, she over saw the activities and events at Overlook, helping to foster an environment that contributed to Overlook becoming a top nursing home in the state. She dedicated her personal life to her family and to her church, Slatersville Congregational Church, only a stone throw from where she and Harold made their home on School St. in Slatersville, RI.

She is survived by her son, Charles and his wife, Robin; her daughter, Janet and her husband, Kevin; and her daughter, Kristen and her husband, Michael; along with her grandchildren Andrew, Sarah, Curtis, Samuel, and Adam; and her great-grandchildren Mason, Hunter, Chase, Cali, and Crew. She was predeceased by her brother, George Ethier.

Per the family's request, funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the guidance of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main Street, Woonsocket, RI.
