Lionel P. Lafleur, 92, of Woonsocket, passed away January 11, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Phillippe and Adeline (Chantiny) Lafleur.
Mr. Lafleur proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, in theatre, during the Korean War. Lionel worked as a pantagrapher for Jostens in North Attleboro for several years, and worked in maintenance for the StadiumTheatre, Woonsocket. He enjoyed walking up and down Main St., and enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers.
He is survived by two sons, Stanley Lafleur and his wife, Sue, of North Smithfield, and Mark Lafleur and his wife, Barbara, of Buckeye, AZ; six grandchildren, Keri Lafleur of CA, Geena and Kiana Lafleur, and Brian Johnson, all of AZ, Sandra Eades of TX, and Jennifer Patel of FL; six great grandchildren, Makai Lafleur, Kaylee Mayorga, Logan and Cayden Eades, Kayleigh Picard, and Tymothy Crane; two great great grandchildren, Daxton and Lenox Mims; and several nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of the late Wanda Lafleur; and brother of the late Normand Lafleur and Constance Nunes.
