Lisa M. (Laplante) Jabotte

Lisa M. (Laplante) Jabotte, 63, of Woonsocket, passed away on September 18, 2025, at landmark medical center in Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Robert J. Laplante of Woonsocket and the late Mary Janice (Cote) Laplante.

Lisa worked at Stop & Shop in Bellingham for 21 years and also dedicated many years serving her community at the voting polls. Known for her sass, quick comebacks, and tell-it-like-it-is attitude, she was never one to hold back. Whether opening with a joke, telling someone to put out their smoke, or greeting them with a, "What the hell are you doing here?" she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Fierce and bold, Lisa loved her parents, sisters, brothers, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply. If she could leave one final message, it would be: "Finally, I can take a nap in peace without someone bothering me."

Besides her father, who Lovingly calls Lisa "my hero," she leaves behind her children, Joseph and Holly Jabotte, both of Woonsocket; three sisters, Laurie Fecteau, Lorna Ames, and De-Ann Beauchamp; two brothers, Darrell and Steven Laplante, all of Woonsocket; nine grandchildren, Dylan (her "favorite" or "second son"), Alexzandriana, Blake, and Brandon McGarrigle, as well as Trinity, Joseph, Jo'ziah, and Mariéla Jabotte, and Taylor Postell; and three great-grandchildren, Remy and Elijah McGarrigle, and Iris Pietrowski. She was predeceased by one great-grandchild, Amiri Love Pietrowski.

Her visitation will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
