Lorraine "Lorie" M. (Blais) Dutremble, 75, of Woonsocket, died November 25, 2023, peacefully in her home under Hope Hospice care with her two loving daughters by her side and her loving husband. She was the wife of Jean Dutremble Jr., of Woonsocket. Born in North Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Doris (Roy) Blais.
Lorie worked at Landmark Medical Center for over 26 years up until her retirement. Lorie also volunteered at St. Joseph's Church and Woonsocket Senior Center. She loved gardening, traveling, shopping, especially getting a bargain. She loved her cats "Fluffy" and "Lucky." She adored her family and referred to her daughters, Tammy and Lorie as "Her Girls." She loved doing anything with her husband, but her highlight was when they went to Newport. Lorie could walk in a room and her smile was so contagious, she would light up a room. She was strong, kind, caring, loving and will be sadly missed.
Along with her husband, Jean, she is survived by her daughters, Lorie Bromley of Pascoag, and Tammy Martin, and her husband Lee, of North Scituate. Michelle and Corinne Dutremble both of Woonsocket; her siblings, Norman Blais of North Smithfield and Pauline Ethier of Woonsocket; ten grandchildren whom she adored, Mikie, Richie, Nate, Nick (Teddy Bear), Andy, Tonia, Sam, Lucy, Anna, and Lala; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 at 9AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Holy Trinity Church, 1409 Park Ave, Woonsocket.
