Lorraine L. (Lasiewicz) Fawcett

Lorraine L. Fawcett, 92, formerly of Mapleville, died May 4, 2025 in Bayberry Commons. She was the wife of Warren Fawcett and the late Charles Nowicki. Born in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Wanda (Ignasiak) Laswick.

Lorraine worked as a sales representative for Chromatics Technologies, she also was a school bus driver. She enjoyed making cakes, sewing, and crocheting, especially making blankets for everyone in her family.

Along with her husband, Warren, she is survived by her three children, Richard Nowicki of The Villages, FL, Gary Nowicki and his wife Patricia, of San Diego and Susan Nowicki of Uxbridge; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; her stepchildren, Warren Fawcett, Jr., Tracy Fawcett, Heidi Jacques and Lisa Fawcett, and their families  She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Patricia Nowicki.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
