Lorraine I. (Mercier) Trinque, 87, of Woonsocket, passed away July 1, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Paul Trinque. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Loretta (Provost) Mercier.
Mrs. Trinque worked as bank teller for several local banks for over twenty years. She was a volunteer at St. Joseph's Church as a counter. Lorraine was an avid reader, loved playing cards and doing crossword puzzles, and especially loved being around family and friends.
She is survived by her four children, Donna McMullen and her husband, Timothy, of Woonsocket, Teresa Dunham and her husband, Jeffrey, of Johnston, David Trinque of Woonsocket and Susan Pepin and her husband, Steven, of Uxbridge; two brothers, Roger Mercier of Bellingham, and Paul Mercier of Blackstone, MA; four grandchildren, Allison, Kelsey, Courtney, and Spencer; and two great grandchildren, Annabella and Benjamin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 15, 2024 at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Rd., Cumberland. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
