Lucien G. Menard, Sr.

Lucien G. Menard Sr., 71, of Woonsocket, passed away September 14, 2025 at home. He was the husband of Elke (Parodi) Menard. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Edmond Menard and Aurora (Benoit) Gross-Menard.

Lucien worked as a manager for Garelick Farms. He was a hard worker who loved his family, especially taking pride in hosting family gatherings. Lucien enjoyed playing golf in his spare time. He was an avid New England sports fan, and he enjoyed watching the New England Patriots play.

Along with his wife Elke, he is survived by their children; Lucien Menard, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Warwick, Stephanie Hayward and her husband Andrew of Uxbridge, MA, Lisa Luzzi and her husband John of Ashaway, Monica Lebrun and Sandra Fenoff, both of Woonsocket; three brothers, Vernon Gross of North Smithfield, Richard Gross of PA, and Edmund Menard of Woonsocket; three sisters, Laura Tellier and Theresa Bourget, both of Woonsocket, and Denise Bourget of Pawtucket; fourteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Michelle Lebrun; and the brother of the late Roland Gross, Ellen Bergeron, and May Roy.

His funeral will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 beginning at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1220 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 - 7 PM.
