Lucille M. (Tetreault) Hunt, 92, of Cumberland and formerly of Eastford, CT, and Willamantic, CT, died March 10, 2021 in the Phillip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Manville, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Noella (Pontbriand) Tetreault.
Ms. Hunt worked for UConn, Storrs, CT, for twenty three years, retiring in 1987, then worked as a CNA for Personal Home Care, Cumberland, for six years, as well as Manville Jenks Mill. Lucille was a communicant of St. James Church, Manville. Her favorite pastimes included playing Scrabble with friends and family, visiting the Casino and watching the Red Sox.
She is survived by two stepsons, Earl Hunt and his wife Carol of Willamantic, CT, and Craven Hunt of Mexton. NC, a sister Lorraine Arcuri of Cumberland, two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; 5 nieces, Diane Pincince and her husband Rene of Woonsocket, Elaine Choiniere of Cumberland, Linda Marty of Manville, Kathy Ellis and her husband Mike of Norfolk, VA and Barbara Hennings and her husband Randall of Vancouver, WA, 2 nephews Michael Choiniere and his wife Joanne of Cranston, and Paul Choiniere of Johnston, many great nieces, nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Anthony Hunt and the sister of the late Claire Choiniere.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10 AM in St. James Church, 33 Division St., Manville, or can be viewed live at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/60551763 Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or St. Judes Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
