Lucille B. (Brunelle) Laliberte, 97, of Woonsocket, passed away February 28, 2025 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Leo R. Laliberte. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Agatha (Forcier) Brunelle.
Mrs. Laliberte was a communicant of Precious Blood Church, Woonsocket, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lucille was an avid cribbage player, enjoyed reading, especially mystery novels, and was an exceptional dancer.
She is survived by her three children, Michele Norman and her husband, Allen, of Woonsocket, Kenneth Laliberte and his wife, Suzanne, of Cumberland, and Christine Trebisacci and her husband, Robert, of Westerly; a sister, Irene Laprade of Woonsocket and a brother, Raymond Brunelle of Largo, FL; five grandchildren, Alyse, Phillip, Ash, Robert, and Nicholas; and a great grandson, Callum.
Her funeral will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 beginning with visitation from 9 - 10 AM at the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Precious Blood Church, 94 Carrington, Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
