Lucille R. (Degrange) Perron, 82, of North Smithfield, passed away February 1, 2025 in Steere House Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Wilfred H. Perron. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo Degrange, Sr. and Rita (Recore0 Degrange.
Mrs. Perron worked as a seamstress for Royal Robes, Tupperware, and Staelen Sports Craft. Lucille was a very faithful woman, enjoyed reading and staying physically active, and was a former member of the Elks.
She is survived by her three children, Catherine Duquette and her husband, Russell, of North Smithfield, Wilfred Perron, Jr. and his wife, Christine, of Grant, FL, and Charles Perron and his wife, Nicole, of East Providence; a brother, Omer Degrange of Texas; a sister, Claire Taft of Forney, TX; three grandchildren; Kelsey Desautels and her husband, Rudolph, Kyle Logan and his wife, Kayla Richard, and Brandon Duquette and his wife, Joan; as a great granddaughter, Novalee Desautels. She was the sister of the late Leo Degrange, Jr.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 beginning with visitation from 9 - 10:15 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Joseph Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Wrentham Rd., Bellingham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 100 Borden St., Providence, RI 02903.
