Margaret Dwyer Obituary

Margaret M. Dwyer, 87, a lifelong Woonsocket, RI resident, died on October 22, 2019 at the Friendly Home, Woonsocket, RI. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret (Kennedy) Dwyer.

Margaret had worked for more than forty years at Verizon and was a lifelong communicant of St. Charles Church.

She is survived by her sister, Brenda Colihan and her husband James of Annapolis, MD; sister-in-law, Sally Dwyer of Narragansett; her sister-in-law, Florence Dwyer of Lincoln and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul and Vincent Dwyer. The family would like to thank the staff at the Friendly Home for the kind and compassionate care that was given to our beloved sister, aunt and friend.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 11 AM in St. Charles Church, 190 North Main Street. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone MA. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. The family will receive friends a hour prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
