Margaret R. (Ferrio) Gongoleski

Margaret R. (Ferrio) Gongoleski, 82, of North Smithfield, died June 1, 2026 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Richard Gongoleski. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Ida (Beaulieu) Ferrio.

Margaret worked as a purchasing agent and was a very hardworking woman. She enjoyed Polish and Italian cooking, gardening, especially flowers, and traveling, whether it be weekends in Boothbay or visiting with her sister.

The family would like to thank the Landmark Medical Center ICU team for the care they gave Margaret.

She leaves her children, Bethany Crook and her husband Christopher of Bellingham, Michael Gongoleski of Woonsocket and David Gongoleski of North Smithfield; her sister, Donna Hertzog of Colorado Spring, CO; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew and Emily Gongoleski.

A graveside service will be held privately in the family lot in the Ukrainian-American Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Antoine Residence Activities Fund, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, RI 02896.
